Bal Vikash

Culture & Hindi Classes

The Hindi Language, Art, and Culture School has been in operation at the Gayatri Mandir since 1992, but it has only been run on a sporadic basis by a small group of teachers. Bal Vikash has been running constantly since 2019 thanks to a group of volunteers lead by Mrs Nirmala Shandil. Classes are held every Sunday from 9.30 to 11.00 a.m. (except during school holidays). Volunteer teachers provide Hindi classes, and the HSQ Committee plans to expand the curriculum to include music, yoga, dance, arts, and Vedic literature, giving our young people the tools they need to traverse life with verve and wisdom.
